Selfie AI needs no account and keeps your photos on your phone. Most questions are answered below. If something looks broken, deleting and reinstalling the app resets it cleanly, since everything is stored on your phone.

How do I score a photo?

Open the app, pick a selfie from your photos or take one, and you get a score, four ratings, retouched versions, and a few tips to improve.

Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?

Yes, but only after you agree. Your selfie is sent to our server and to OpenAI and Google, which score it and retouch it. We keep it until you delete it. Delete one shot in the app, or delete everything in the app settings, and it is removed from our server right away.

What do the score and ratings mean?

They are a fun guide to lighting, angle, expression, and framing, meant to help you take a better shot. They are not a judgment of you.

The app needs photo access.

The app works on a photo you choose, so it asks for permission to open your photos or camera. You can allow or deny this any time in your phone Settings under Privacy.

How do I remove a saved selfie?

Open the selfie in the app and tap delete. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app from your phone.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign up and no login. You do not need to give anything about yourself to use the app.
