Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Selfie AI collects, why, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

The short version

You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. When you score a selfie, the photo is sent to our server and to two AI services, OpenAI and Google, so they can score it and retouch it. The app asks for your permission before the first photo is sent. We keep your selfies until you delete them, and you can delete them in the app at any time.

Face data

The only face data Selfie AI collects is the selfie you choose to score. We use it for one thing: to score your photo for light, angle, expression, and framing, and to make retouched versions of it for you. We do not create face prints, face geometry, or any other biometric identifier from your photo. We do not use your photo to recognize or identify you, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your selfie is stored on our server, together with its score and its retouched versions, so you can see your past shots in the app. It is kept until you delete it. When you delete a shot, or tap delete everything in the app, the photo, its score, and its retouched versions are removed from our server right away.

Who we share your photo with

Before your first selfie is sent, the app shows what is sent and who it goes to, and asks you to agree. Nothing is sent until you do. After that, each selfie you score is shared with these services, only to produce your result:

  • OpenAI, which reads the photo and returns your score, ratings, and tips.
  • Google, whose image model makes the retouched versions of your photo. We reach it through fal.ai, a service that runs AI models for us.

These services process your photo to return a result to us. Under their terms for business customers, they do not use it to train their models, and they give it the same or stronger protection than we do. We do not sell your photos or any other data, and we do not share them with anyone else.

Other information we collect

  • A random ID for your device, so your shots stay yours and so we can keep a daily limit on use.
  • The app version and platform, to keep the app working.

We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What is stored on your device

  • Whether you finished onboarding.
  • The shots you save in the app and their results.
  • Whether you agreed to send your photos for scoring.
  • Basic settings so the app opens the way you left it.

Children

Selfie AI is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

  • Do not agree, and no photo is ever sent.
  • Delete a single shot in the app at any time.
  • Tap delete everything in the app settings to remove all your photos, scores, and retouched versions from our server.
  • Grant or deny camera and photo access in your device Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page.
